We went to a 4H Achievement party earlier this week. Well, three of us did. One cannot eat pizza due to a cheese allergy. Dad was not feeling well and went to bed after work.
It was a nice ceremony. Sean got a trophy for his Grand Champion in Geology and also a cash award. Some projects get cash awards. We did not know this until last night. As if the ribbons were not motivation enough, put some green in kids’ hands and see how that works. 
It might make this next year go a little easier with less pushing from me.
He was also one of the 1st year 4H’ers that were recognized and given a 2012 penny.
